Hi Reader,

Fall is finally showing up and I am here for every single degree it drops. I just started a knit-along for a fall sweater in the most gorgeous red wool and I cannot wait to finish it and actually wear it. Wearing things I've handmade will never get old.

I also just got back from being with my college bestie while her husband went through quadruple heart bypass surgery. I dropped everything and went. And I could, because I own my own business. A corporate job would not have given me that. Not without forms and approvals and somebody's permission.

That kind of freedom is not small. And it has me feeling deeply grateful this week.

So today I just want to shout out three things that have been a complete blessing.

I am grateful for the flexibility to show up for the people I love.

I built Tech Savvy Coach because I wanted work that fit around my life, not the other way around. This week reminded me that I actually did that. When someone I love needed me, I was there. No permission required.

I am grateful for the work itself.

This week a client reached out to me in an absolute panic at 9:30pm on a Tuesday. Her launch was in crisis mode. I helped her break through the panic, make clear decisions about next steps, and got the tech set up to support her. By the end of the call she could breathe again.

I felt like a superhero. And honestly? Who can be mad at that.

I am grateful for you.

You encourage me. You inspire me. You reply to my emails and ask questions and share your own struggles and remind me that what I do actually matters. I want every person running a business, no matter the size or the season they're in, to feel supported the way you make me feel supported.

So thank you. Really. This isn't filler at the bottom of an email, it's the whole point.
